The two rock enclosed ponds create a haven from the open ocean waves while still allowing the small reef fish to move into the pond through the crevices. The lifeguard protected calm waters and variety of fish make this the perfect beginner beach for swimming, picnicking, and snorkeling. Lifeguards, full facilities, picnic areas, and Kamalani Playground make this a great place to enjoy the ocean in safety.
